Anne Maitland Pitts, in a correction to the First Garvagh Presbyterian ChurchMarriage Register, says:
I have seen a copy of the original transcript and the shaky hand has written Jane- Jane married Joseph Nelson on 11 Jan 1843. They had children, which are:

- Wallace 15 Feb 1847 - Jun 1925
- Eliz Jane abt. 1851 - Jan 1933
- Samuel abt. 1852 - Jun 1928
- Catherine abt. 1854 - Jul 1918
- Mary Ann 1860 - Aug 1940
- Joseph Feb 1861 -
- John 1862 - Oct 1927
- Margaret 1863 -
- Thomas 2 Sep 1866 -
This family moved to Scotland, the Glasgow- Motherwell area where most of their deaths may be found on ScotlandsPeople.
