On April 17th, 1825, Hugh Walker Rodgers took over the ministry of the parish where he was the minister until 1852, when his son, James Maxwell Rodgers, took over.
Hugh left good records of the baptisms and marriages he performed and these are (being) transcribed to the www site.
The originals are, of course, not always always to read. Names in records are particularly difficult and are subject to interpretation. Barbara Braswell has good knowledge of the families and hers is the original interpretation. This has been checked by myself and I can see certain places where misinterpretation is indeed possible.
