disposal  thereof being vested in the Crown pursuant to a Statute 120.

28 February 1757, John Cochran v Samuel Hay, Plt. appeared by his attorney
(Sloan), filed his declaration and is to plead next Court Day.

1 March 1757. Cochran v. Hay. Deft. to plead next Court day.
18 Apr. 1757 Cochran v. Hay. Deft. to plead in two days or judgement will
be entered agst. him.
2 Oct. 1758. Cochran v. Hay. Deft. to plead next Court day without motion.
13 Nov. 1758. Cochran v. Hay. plea filed by John Hamilton, Attorney for
Deft. issues joined and trial to take place next Court Day. Adjourned to
27 Nov.

No reference to Torrens.

1748, Aghadowey, Archibald Torrens. Inventory of late Archibald Torrence
of Carnroe, made by Alexander Torrence and Jonathan Jameson (long list of
farm stock, cattle, etc. value of household goods, includes:-) "a
blunderbuss 4.ss",   "outstanding debts by notes, the most of which are
very desparate. The farm sold for 36.

knowledge of Rev. John Torrens, his admor. Lease under Corporation of
Derry 1,600. Lease under Sir Wm. Rowly, bart. 500. Arrears of his living
1,000. Stock and effects sold by auction 433. Ditto retained by Mrs.
Torrens 50. Cash in bank 700. Policy payable in Oct. 1797 1,000.
