Elizabeth Peden married William Beattie who came from Greenock, Renfrewshire
and certainly went back there to live for a while (long enough to have 3
children: Robert, Sarah and Elizabeth. They moved to Liverpool in about 1876
(I think for William to work at Tate & Lyle) and had 2 more kids: William
and James.

I haven't got an address in Liverpool but Everton, Kirkdale, Scotland Road
areas feature in later generations.
