Colin - I have the images for 1881 and 1891; can send them off list if you
contact me direct.

In 1881, William gives his birthplace as Ireland.  

My Mary Pedan and her husband Stuart Stirrett went to Greenock, Renfrewshire
where they had two of their children, before moving to Everton in Liverpool.
Stuart was a 'sugar baker'!  We could be on to something here...

Elizabeth Peden married William Beattie who came from Greenock, Renfrewshire
and certainly went back there to live for a while (long enough to have 3
children: Robert, Sarah and Elizabeth. They moved to Liverpool in about 1876
(I think for William to work at Tate & Lyle) and had 2 more kids: William
and James.

I haven't got an address in Liverpool but Everton, Kirkdale, Scotland Road
areas feature in later generations.
