Hello, I have just received more Torrens Marraige and Death Certificates
which I had sent away for only a few weeks ago in Dublin, The last batch had
taken about 2 months to arrive, Things must be improving down there !!!

Anyhow, here are some of the Torrens Death Certificates from the Ballymoney
Area;-

POOR LAW UNION OF BALLYMONEY.
REGISTRARS DISTRICT;- Castlequarter.
DATE OF DEATH;- 7 June 1864.
PLACE;-  Artiferral.
NAME;- Nancy Torrens, Married, aged 82 yrs,
OCCUPATION;- Farmers Wife.
CAUSE ;- Old Age.
INFORMANT;- Nancy Torrens, daughter,

REG DISTRICT OF;-     Ballymoney.
D.O.D.;-    28 July 1873.
PLACE;-   Craigatempin.
NAME;-    Samuel Torrens, Married, age 55 years,
OCCUPATION;-    farmer.
CAUSE;-    Disease of Liver and Dropsy. Three Months, No Med Attendant.
INFORMANT;-    Samuel Kirkpatrick, present at Death. Craigatempin.

D.O.D;-    20 Aug 1887.
PLACE;-  Main St, Ballymoney.
NAME;-    Samuel Torrens, Formerly of New York, Married, age 75 years.
OCCUPATION;-    Retail Silk Merchant.
CAUSE;-    Burst ?? Valve, Disease of the Heart, Congestion ?? of Lungs, 14
days.
INFORMANT;-    Martha Henry, present at Death, Miltown.


REGISTRARS DISTRICT; - Dirraw.
D.O.D;-     12 Apr 1867.
PLACE;-    Tullaghans.
NAME;-     Samuel Torrens,  Married, aged 42 years,
OCCUPATION;-    Soldier.
CAUSE;-     Phithisis ??No Medical Attendant.
INFORMANT;-    Jane Torrens, Present at Death, Tullaghans.

Also Dirraw;-
D.O.D;-    20 June, 1878.
PLACE;-    Artiloman.
NAME;-    John Torrens, Married, age 81 yrs.
OCCUPATION;-    Farmer.
CAUSE;-    Old Age, No Med attendant.
INFORMANT;-    Sarah Torrans, present at Death, Artiloman.

D.O.D.;-    4 Jan 1878.
PLACE;-    Maddydoo.
NAME;-    Jane Torrans, Married, age 77yrs.
OCCUPATION;-    Farmers wife.
CAUSE;-    Old Age, One Year, No Medical Attendant.
INFORMANT;-    William Torrans, Present at the death. Maddydoo.

D.O.D.;-    7 June 1888.
PLACE;-    Maddydoo.
NAME;-    Hugh  Torrans, Widower, age 86 yrs,
OCCUPATION;-    Farmer,
CAUSE;-    Old Age, one year, No Medical Attendant.
INFORMANT;-    William Torrans, son, present at Death, Maddydoo.

Jane T and Hugh T above must be huisband and wife as it is the same townland
and William the informant must be son of both of them.

REGISTRARS DISTRICT;-    Ballycastle.
D.O.D.;-    27 Sept 1892.
PLACE;-    Ballycastle.
NAME;-    Thomas Torrans, Married, age 84 yrs.
OCCUPATION;-    Labourer.
CAUSE;-    Heart Disease, 3 years, No Med Att.
INFORMANT;-    Mary Torrans, Widow of Deceased, Present at death,
Ballycastle.

I hope these have been usefull, Ive a few more Death Certificates to email,
as well as some Marraige Certifices. I will have to email them at another
time as it is now my bedtime.
