Has anyone on the list ever visited this church? My great-great-great grandparents, Hugh and Sarah Jane Semple, are buried in the church's graveyard (see listing on the url that was posted earlier). I'm curious if there are surviving records at the church from the period of about 1860 to 1920-30. I'd like to find out who placed the marker, because there are four of Hugh and Sarah's children who are also listed on the marker. Several more of their children left for the U.S. (including my great-grandfather, William Semple). Maybe there are still relatives in the area?!
