Hi Judy, My great great great grandmother was a Black who married a =
Morrell in the Aghadowey/Desetoghill area in about 1770-80. I have no =
information at all about her family. Is it possible that you have ? =

Iain...I searched the 1860 Massachusetts census records and found: =
John McNeil, 67, born Ireland, together with wife Sarah, 64, also born =
Ireland. The household included others...common to have boarders in =
addition to other family members in those days if the home were large =
enough: Nancy Burnside, 22, born Ireland. William McNeil, 19, born =
Ireland: occupation: Mule Skinner (a teamster (a driver of sorts)). Mary =
McNeil 25, b. Ireland, Weaver. Elizabeth McNeil 28, b. Ireland, Weaver. =
Margaret J. McNeil, 43, b. Ireland, and also a weaver. Record found in =
Massachusetts, Town of Millbury, Worcester County. The enumeration date =
was 12 August 1860. Don't know if this is of help. Regards, Judy Webster =
(family line in Bannvalley is Black, and Bradley.

Church
Thanks Troy
How amazing though, that my great great grandfather John McNeill b =
1795 (son of Daniel and Betty) married a Sarah Roxburgh, his sister =
Betty married a James Roseberry, and his brother Daniel married a Molly =
Roseberry.
My great grandfather Richard has Roxburgh as his middle name.
John McNeill was noted by my father to have "lived 18 years in =
Crevalea, (one of the Aghadowey townlands) and landed in Boston Mass. on =
6th June 1852. He personally knew Archibald Campbell and was married in =
John Brown's Presbyterian Church, Aghadowey"
I have so far not managed to trace him or any of his family in the =
USA, though I have (I think) all of my Scottish relatives. Richard =
Roxburgh McNeill married a Sarah Brisbane and moved to Lanark to the =
Coal fields in 1851.
Cheers
Iain
