Miriam,  Welcome to the list. I know now who your Alexander Torrens is, He
is of the Torrens family of Moyletra townland.
His son William T, I have was born about 1825 and married a Jane Turner,
daughter of William Turner of Ballinameen, Garvagh.  They imigrated to
Australia I think.
I do not know who Alexander Ts father was , but if I could it would really
help us all who have been "Splitting our heads" to find out whos who !!

I have made out a tree of this family and just a few months ago I was in
touch with people who belong to the Mormon church in Coleraine who also
descend from your Alexander Torrens.  There is also a lady who is on the
Torrens list who lives in Australia, have you been in contact with her ?? I
dont remember her name, it might have been Bush, Im not sure.
