Isaac,
It looks like there was a George Dallas in Garvagh
according to the 1912 Ulster Covenant signees, too.
I checked one of my books on Kilrea and he was there
in Kilrea Directory in 1905 but not in 1870 one. He
was a watchmaker AND Photographer. He took a photo of
my gr gr grandparents John and Mary McCaughrin Stewart
sometime before 1886, which we have recently
discovered!! Very exciting!!
