Hi there, I am totally new to this so please forgive my errors.  I am searching for Lawrence Cooney and Bridget Harrington.  I am told their son John was born in Vow  in1854.  Can anyone please help me?  Regards Ruth

Tom, I have McCann ancestors on my maternal side but they lived in the
Bushmills/Coleraine/ Portrush areas. I descend from a Neil McCann (b abt
1820)of Preistland, Bushmills and they belonged to Dunluce CoI.  I think
Neils father may have been a John McCann. Unfortunatly I dont have much
information on them.

If you travel to the Bann Valley in August you can look me up and perhaps we
can meet, and the same applies to others who visit here would be welcome to
meet up with me as I can perhaps help in your research as I know the area
quite well.

The weather here is very hot, too hot for my liking, it was about 28 degrees
