[4qd-bannvalley] Re: visit
Dear Bob
I can't agree more! When I was in Garvagh 4 years ago, I knew enough to
suspect that my YOUNG and STEWART ancestors were probably Presbyterians but
that was all; so I visited the Main St Presb. church and wrote down details
of every headstone which had either YOUNG or STEWART (now on Lavonne's
website) and it was only later that I identified some of them as being mine,
maybe more will connect as my research continues, they have been a huge
help. How I wish now that I had visited the 1st Presbyterian church, and the
old Desertoghill one too, because now I know that mine had been there before
going to the Main Street one. (Please if you visit either of those churches
and you spot any YOUNG, would you note it down for me?)
The quickest and easiest way is by using a digital camera, I didn't have one
when I visited and wrote them all down by hand.
