Just a reminder to everyone lucky enough to be living in the Emerald Isle,
that this Saturday, 28th April, Colin Brooks and William Roulston will be
speaking on the topic of "Discovering your Ulster Scots Ancestry" at the
Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny at 3:30pm.
Earlier in the day, there are seminars on "The Flight of the Earls and
Plantation", the "Story of Migration", and "Peace and Reconciliation".
Speakers include Helen Meehan, John McCavitt, Jim McDowell, Patrick
Fitzgerald, James McConnell, Paedar Carpenter and Charley McAdam. The cost
is £20 or ?30 and this includes a dinner in the evening followed by Ulster's
premier Bluegrass ensemble, The Broken String Band.
There is also a Heritage Tour on Sunday, cost £5 or ?7.50 but this is nearly
sold out, and a free seminar on Faith plus Psalm Singing at Monreagh
Presbyterian Church in the afternoon.
Tickets can be booked in advance - email me direct.
