[4qd-bannvalley] McAllister & Boyd

Hi Cindy
Although from a different era, I share the McAllister and Boyd names. My 3g
grandpa's were John Kilpatrick (b abt 1797) and Eleanor Gilmore (b abt 1802)
who married in Garvagh in 1823 (John Boyd present at the marriage) and died
in Australia around 1870. John Kilpatrick's parents were James Kilpatrick
and Catherine McAllister - probably from Crossland. Eleanor's parents were
Hugh Gilmore and Jane Boyd - probably from Lismoyle. Elizabeth Gilmore (d/o
Hugh Gilmore and Jane Boyde of Lismoyle) married Jas Campbell (of Lismoyle)
in Kilrea in 1834.
These are longshots but might assist in placing your family in the Bann
Valley.
Cheers
