Hi

Can anyone help

I am trying to find if there are any family members left in the =
Agahdowey/
Magherafelt area. Some are buried in the Churchyard of St Guaire=92s in
Agahdowey.

Edward Arthur Fleming( 1818?-1849) married a Catherine Miller(1803-1889) =
of
an Ulster Catholic family in the 1830=92s Their 5th son James is my
grandfather he married a Jane HASTINGS of Magherafelt, Jane was the =
daughter
of William Hastings & Eliza CRAIG. Eliza died in Portstuart in 1887 but =
I do
not know the date of William=92s death

I have also found that an Edward Fleming(1795-1849) was a master at a =
school
called the Ballynavilly Kildare school, would there be records for this
school? Am I right in assuming that there could have been Fleming in =
this
area?

James=92 brother Robert W Fleming was living with his brother in =
Paddington
in the 1871 census was noted as a joiner.

There is also a story that James & Eliza received a wedding present of
Grandfather clock given to them by the Bishop of Armagh? in 1868

I have a note from what is called Ireland Newspaper Abstracts which =
states
Board of Guardians 6th April 1844(a meeting took place & it was proposed =
by
A Orr & a Barklie that the salary of the clerk Mr. Fleming be raised) =
what
would they have they been the Board of Guardians to?

Sarah Fleming married a William Cunningham married in about 1866 I think =
in
Coleraine but they lived at 49 Frances Street, Londonderry and they died =
in
in abut 1910 & 1929?? This was from a note in my grandmothers family =
circle
cook on births marriages & deaths.

Catherine Fleming & one of her sons John Vandermere Fleming lived in a =
house
called Bann Cottage, Mountsandel could anybody tell me if this is ll =
there

I have been told that Maxwell=92s & Cassidy=92s married into the Craig &
Hastings family I think.
