Sorry, no Ellis in the rent rolls records. There are 2 or 3 in the Flax
bounty records 1796, but in the West of the county, Parish of Cumber.
Ellis is a prominent family name in the Kilrea/Tamlaght area esp. the td of
Innisrush. You have probably seen the transcription of Kernohan's book on
the BV site where Ellis crops up a few times.
Apart from info on the site, the Ordnance survey memoirs for T O'Crilly 1835
mentions the name Ellis twice:
