Hello Morrison, Thank you for Maria Murrell's D.O.B. and parentage.I =
also have an Alice Murrell who married William Haslett {lower Drumneecy) =
possibly also a daughter of John and Alice. There were two John Murrells =
who were Flax growers at Balteagh in 1796.My ancestors appear as flax =
growers at Desertoghill in that year and being the first Murrells to be =
traced in that area they almost certainly came from the Roe Valley =
family. Family lore has it that they were originally Huguenots who =
