Yes, Solomon Brown, the brother you name, was the minister of Castledawson Presbyterian Church from about 1800 to 1835.  I have the microfilmed records for this church from those dates, together with Rev. Brown's notations, and will one day transcribe them!  In a document from 1845 by my g-g-grandfather & his sister, both of whom emigrated to America in 1847, an owner or leasee on the property, and a party to the deed, is listed as William Brown, son and heir to Rev. Solomon Brown, deceased (by this date in 1845).  The property was in Ballymacombs Townland near Bellaghy.
