Dear Richard
I have been searching for my GG grandparents who hailed from Coleraine and I 
think they were married in St Patricks in Coleraine
They were :
William Thompson born?
of Laurel Hill, Coleraine
married
Charlotte Yates born about 1820 the younger daughter of the Late Mr Yates of 
Killowen, Coleraine at the parish church on the 1st Dec 1840
I believe that this was reported in the Belfast News and The Sentinel
I do know they had a son William born abt 1845 in Ireland (That is all it 
says on his death Notice)
he died in Cathcart, Eastern Cape, South Africa in 1898
I have reasdon to believe that Charlotte Yates' Father's name was JOHN YATES
(she had a grandson with that name.  )
I would appreciate ANY info about the THOMPSON or YATES Families
