As Thomas resided in Portstewart at time of marriage I have been researching farms in that area. I have located McKirgans with similar names, Thomas, John, etc in Glenmanus but have yet to establish a link with Roger.
The 1901 and 1911 Census of Ireland show McKirgans listed as Church of Ireland, I am assuming as Thomas and James married there that the same would apply to all the family. Further research of the census on my part should confirm this.
