RE: [Bann Valley] 1718 Immigrants who settled in Maine

Dear Linde,
Thanks for your e-mail. I would appreciate contact information for Mr. Jameson.
Please keep my folks in your databank as you prepare for your 300th reunion. My great grandfather was Thomas Means - a descendent of Robert Means - who lived in Maine until 1859 when he left (his Maine family) for California where he met my great grandmother.

Your information is very useful; thanks for posting it; a group of us here in Ireland are beginning to plan for 300 year commemoration of the emigration in 1718, and we are hoping to be able to provide at least a partial list of the early emigrants from the Bann valley. I can't at the minute add to your information, but if anything comes to hand, I'll certainly pass it on. I am in touch with a John Jameson who has antecedents in the 1718 migration but I'm not sure if his are the same as yours. Happy to put you in touch if that would assist.

best wishes
