Hello Helen,

I've been out of the office for over a week,  so am still catching up on
email.

I am one of the descendants of Robert & Jane.  I have been able to add to
some of Don Chambers' (see Linde's message) information but it is a while
since I've done a lot.  My great-grand-mother, Isabella was one of Robert &
Jane's children.  A number of others also came to New Zealand - Hugh,
Elizabeth Ann, Samuel Smyth, John.

Does anyone know of any descendants of Robert Torrens (Drumsara) who married
Jane Johnston in c1848.  I am also interested in their Ancestors.
