Miscellaneous Torrens Family Documents

This is the last will and testament of me John Morrison Torrens of
Braidujle House in the County of Down. I give and devise all my estate and
effects real and personal which I may die possessed of or be entitled to
unto my sister Marth Ann Torrens absolutely, she paying thereout of unto
my brother Hugh Ranken Torrens £1,000 and to my nephews John Morrison
Torrens, Robert Gordon Torrens, and Hugh Merrick Torrens, and my nieces
Elizabeth Martha Brooks, and Alice Eveline Mary Torrens £200 each,
provided my money lent to Messrs Lindsay Thompson & Co Ltd.. The
Brookfield Linen Co. Ltd., John Arnott & Co Ltd. of Belfast are repaid in
full, but if any loss is sustained from aforesaid companies such loss (if
any) is to be borne equally by all legatees. I appoint Robert Thompson and
Hugh Ranken Torrens and Marth Ann Torrens  executors of my will and I
hereby revoke all former wills and codicils. Dated this second day of
October One thousand nine hundred and nine.
