Most of these documents are copies of data extracted by J W Kernohan for Jared Sidney Torrance of California, around 1919-1921. Many are extracted from the public record office at the Four Courts, Dublin. This office was bombed on 11th December 1922 and the records were destroyed. These Kernohan papers are therefore an invaluable resource for Torrens descendants, and to some other families named therein. The Kernohan extracts are marked K .
